Transport Coordinator
NordicEPOD Portugal is part of an international company specializing in the development and manufacturing of innovative electrical power modules for data centers and industrial applications.
We are looking for a Senior Transport Coordinator to join our team, with experience in domestic and international transportation, client management, and customs process coordination.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and monitor domestic and international transportation operations.
Manage daily contact with clients, carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
Oversee import, export, and customs clearance processes.
Ensure the accuracy of commercial and customs documentation.
Monitor customs duties, import VAT, fees, and other logistics charges.
Validate invoices for transportation and customs services, identifying discrepancies and opportunities for cost optimization.
Manage operational issues, delays, and complaints, ensuring the quality of service provided.
Monitor KPIs, deadline compliance, and service levels, promoting continuous improvement.
🔹 The Profile We’re Looking For
At least 5 years of experience in similar roles.
Solid knowledge of international logistics, import/export, and customs processes.
Experience managing clients and logistics partners.
Proficiency in Excel and ERP/TMS systems.
Proficiency in English.
Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Customer-focused, with a focus on cost control and results.
